Blog Tour Review & Giveway: Feel the Rush by Kelsie Leverich

Feel The Rush

The New York Times bestselling author of The Valentine’s Arrangement continues her sizzling series with a new novel of a plan that goes awry—in the arms of a soldier…

Picking the wrong men is a talent Meagan Mitchell has perfected. She’s sweet, confident, beautiful—and single. With her thirtieth birthday sneaking up on her, she needs a new plan. No more Mr. Wrongs or Mr. Bads, it’s time to find Mr. Safe…

Army Captain, Reed Porter, lives for the thrill—he’s an Airborne Jumpmaster with a rush addiction. He’s sexy and playful, and he quickly tempts Meagan with his rich Southern drawl and sinful looks. But slowing down and settling down are not in his agenda, making him exactly the type of man Meagan wants to avoid…

As their undeniable attraction heats up, Meagan has to decide if she’s willing to risk everything on a chance at love with a reckless charmer. Is she brave enough to bet her future—and her heart—on Mr. Thrill? Or will Reed finally learn that the feeling of a safe landing is just as addicting as the rush of the fall?

Meagan's quickly approaching 30 and feels her internal clock ticking. Her life is not what she imagined it would be at this point in her life. So, she decides to make some changes that will hopefully put her back on track to meeting Mr. Tall, Dark and Boring.

Yep, you read that right. She has been there, done that with the whole bad boy thing. Now, she wants safe and well, boring. But then she meets Reed. Again.

And he is so not safe. Or boring. In fact he is the hottest, baddest bad boy ever. Reed is a risk taker not only in his daily job as an Airborne Jumpmaster, but in his every day life as well. And he wants to take Meagan along for the ride. And seriously, how in the hell can she refuse?!

I really loved the chemistry between Reed and Meagan. And I especially like that there was a previous connection between these two that you will just have to read the book to find out about! They have a care-free, fun loving sort of relationship going and it worked for them. Their playfulness when together is what really drew me to them. But with the good always comes the bad. And the same holds true for Reed and Meagan. They face obstacles that test the strength of the feelings they have for one another. Will love be enough to overcome all the challenges put before them?

I am not usually a fan of books written in third person. But after reading The Valentine's Arrangement, Kelsie became one of the very few authors I can make an exception for. I fell for her storytelling abilities in that book and was reminded all over again of the reasons why with Feel the Rush. This book is a great addition to this series and I can't wait for Eva's book, Pretending She's His!

He lifted the T-shirt over her head and tossed it to the ground. Then he took a moment to just look at her. The woman who had taken up residence in his mind—in his dreams—for the last week was right in front of him, and he wanted to make sure to embed the real image of her in his mind, because the memory of her from that night long ago did nothing to exemplify what was in front of him now.

“You’re staring,” she whispered shyly.

“I know.”

She slid her legs behind her and raised to her knees in front of him. Her tits were right in his reach, her nipples pink and taut, and he wanted to lean down and pull one into his mouth and roll it between his lips—but he didn’t. He was more interested to see what Meagan had planned now that she was on her knees in front of him.

She inched her body closer to him, but even then she still wasn’t close enough—not as close as Reed needed her to be. Reaching out, she grabbed his hands in hers then slowly brought one  to her mouth and pulled his thumb between her lips, sucking it gently. His eyes were fixated on her plump lips as she swirled her tongue around his thumb then released it from her warm mouth. She moved his hands down, splaying his palms over her collarbone, down over her tits—barely giving him time to enjoy the soft mounds before she skimmed them over her stomach. Just as he thought she was leading him to her sweet spot, to where he was itching to touch—to feel her warm and wet, coating his fingers—she wrapped his hands around her waist and pressed her body against him.

The closeness he was craving seeped into him as her soft, bare skin fluttered over his.

“Isn’t it more fun to touch than to look?”

Oh, hell, he was in for it with this woman.

Kelsie Leverich lives in Indiana with her husband and two adorable monsters that are better known as her kids. Her life revolves around her family (to include two dogs and a cat) and most of the time, actually all of the time, it’s a crazy mess—but that’s the way she loves it! When Kelsie’s not writing, you can usually find her on the lake with friends and family or snuggling on the couch with her kids and a good book. Kelsie is not a morning person, has a soft spot for animals, loves musicals, hates seafood, and thinks laundry is the source of all evil.
