Giveaway, Review & Tour: The Girl in 6E by Allessandra Torre

I screw men for money. Not literally, think phone sex operator with a 15 megapixel web cam thrown in. They tell me their deepest, darkest fantasies while paying me $6.99 a minute.

What would possess me to engage in such a business? Throw in a tortured past, 24/7 murderous thoughts, and a desire to keep the innocent people of my small town safe.

I was contained, out of the way, sexcamming my way to utter obscurity until HE came along. A twisted client armed with a target's name. Annie. And in that name, everything changed.

3.5 Hearts

This book is...different. So different in fact, I am not quite sure how I feel about it. At one point I kind of felt like I was reading a book version of Dexter (TV show from Showtime). But DeAnna..or Jessica, whatever the hell her name is, doesn't fit the "killer" mold quite like he does.

The Girl in 6E flips back and forth from different POV's through out the book. At first it is a bit confusing. There really is no rhyme or reason in the beginning why all these characters play a role in the story. But as you read more, things start to click.

I found it intriguing how all the pieces slowly began to fit together. I also thought the look inside the life of a cam girl and her clientele was interesting. Some of the fetishes men have are just...um...WOW! And who knew you could order everything you could ever need to live, without stepping outside of your apartment, all online?!

This is definitely one of those books that you should give a chance if you are looking for something...different.

There is the word again! But honestly I can think of no other way to describe it. And I can't really tell you too much because it would give things away. I will say, the reason for the 3.5 hearts is due to the ending. I just felt it was a bit rushed. I would have liked more of a look into the future. Overall, it is a good read though.
